Well written, Kiron. I agree that nobody can “act” black or white. That’s why I also don’t believe in “whiteness” or “blackness”, which are also used to ascribe certain behaviors to one’s race. Being black or white refers to skin tone and nothing more - though honestly those terms are sort of misnomers themselves. A black person really just has dark brown skin and a white person just has pale skin that’s slightly tan or reddish. Different complexions may exist, but in the end we are all human and we are all individuals.
