Very well written, Alvin. I particularly liked what you said here:

But preferential treatment either from historical guilt, or worse, pity, may be even more deplorable. It is therefore difficult to empathize with the political movement from racial minorities in the US to fight for more preferential treatment policies. Yes, the past has been horrific for minorities. Yes, it was unjustifiable. But to go as far as demanding restorative justice through preferential treatment, is paradoxical and dare I say, narcissistic.

I have found it disheartening how much today's "anti-racist" movement advocates judging people's circumstances by their skin color. You might be surprised how often you hear social activists in America say that colorblindness is bad. I firmly believe that we do, in fact, need to be colorblind in our view of others, and I explained as much in one of my articles. That's why I was glad to see that the Supreme Court found race-based affirmative action in colleges to be unconstitutional.

Keep up the good work!
