There's a lot less debate in America on interracial marriage than on abortion, so I think it's a stretch to say that overturning Roe v. Wade could also lead to banning the former. We're talking about two adults marrying someone of a different complexion vs. destruction of a human life. Understandably, many people are uneasy about Roe v. Wade being nullified, but we shouldn't make more out of that than there really is. Even though I don't agree with Braun about making interracial marriage a state-level jurisdiction, I think it's possible he may be more concerned about big government overreach than about racial purity. It's like when libertarians sometimes say that while discrimination is wrong, a business owner should be able to decide who to hire and who to serve without any legal constraints regarding race, which of course is another flawed idea about the balance of governmental power.
