Thanks for your comment. You’re right that in the end, people everywhere of every race live in difficult circumstances, and it’s worse outside our own country.

I’m sure that some black-owned businesses have gotten a bump up from getting more attention from both customers and corporations, particularly after the death of George Floyd. But this extra attention is very forced and I think ultimately it will peter out, if it hasn’t already. In 2020, 24% more Americans supported the BLM movement than opposed it. Today, that number is at only 1%, and the percentage who oppose it is the highest it’s been since 2017 (https://civiqs.com/results/black_lives_matter?annotations=true&uncertainty=true&zoomIn=true&trendline=true).
